1 - In 2010 Legambiente reported 40 to 100 ships full of nuclear and toxic waste wrecked in the Mediterranean (no May-day signal / no sign of the crew). In 2009 the prosecutor's office in Reggio di Calabria listed 32 wrecking operations definitely linked to organized crime.
