Mwenge - Mafuga Forest Reserves Lack of willingness to replant

The main trees planted were Pine, Eucalyptus and other non-conifers in fire lines (Gombya, 2004). Katuugo in Nakasongola District was gazetted in 1963 and covers an area of 3,318 ha while Mwenge in Kabarole covers an area of 6,278 ha and was gazetted in 1948.
