Lake Bunyonyi - Iyamuriro Wetland Effects of wetland degradation

By 1990 the Iyamuriro wetland was intact, performing hydrological and ecological functions. From the year 2005 to date, the whole eco-system has been converted to Agricultural cultivation land.
