Calculating Volume using Pix4D The Pix4D software provides tools to make volume measurements after the Initial Processing and the Point Cloud Mesh steps were correctly processed. To calculate volume of mangrove trees in Pix4D, we first create a “New Volume” (rayCloud => New Volume). In the rayCloud editor, we use the mouse to select the area for which we want to calculate the volume (figure 15).
