The Coastal Ecosystem Mapping and Media Viability Project
Figure 14. Image of the GCP/Manual Tie Point Manager control window in Pix4D. This window is used to recreate the GCPs in the Pix4D virtual space using the GPS measurements. The GPS measurements can be entered manually or imported directly in the Tie Point Table. Figure 3. Image of the GCP/Manual Tie Point Manager control window in Pix4D. This window is used to recreate the GCPs in the Pix4D virtual space using the GPS measurements. The GPS measurements can be entered manually or imported directly in the Tie Point Table. The GCP/Manual Tie Point Manager (Project => GCP/Manual Tie Point Manager) is used in Pix4D to create points that have the GPS latitude, longitude, and elevation information of each tarp (figure 9).
Figure 15. This figure depicts how the location of GCPs as computed from the drone images and from the GPS measurements differ. The GPS measurements are more precise, and therefore these are used to georeference the drone images in virtual space.
