Support to UNEP / DEWA networking and capacity building in Eastern Europe and the Caucasus (countries, regions and cities) Regional workshop “Modelling instability in the Caucasus region” organized by the Joint Research Centre, which serves as a reference centre of science and technology for the European Union. The workshop was designed to finalize the report A Spatial model of Instability in the Caucasus region . Participants included representatives from Lithuania, Latvia and Belarus. DEWA C4: Training of experts from Governmental and partner institutions data collection, research, analysis, monitoring, integrated environmental assessment, early warning and information networking to enhance their institutional and technical capacities in these areas as specified in the Bali Strategic Plan.
