Mediterranean Sea Programme (MedProgramme): Enhancing Environmental Security
of agreed upon transboundary priority actions, hereunder point and none-point sources of nutrients along with harmful chemicals and wastes (POPs and Mercury). The GEF investment of $42 M will leverage $708 M and is the culmination of two decades of support to the region. The programme is scheduled to start in 2019.
