• Capacity building activities related to the development of the Uganda Atlas: 4 thematic planning meetings to identify contents of the atlas conducted in Uganda. Atlas database developed by the National Environmental Management Authority. Dissemination strategy developed and endorsed. One high level policy workshop held in November 2008 to present preliminary findings of the atlas work; One presentation made to the Governing Council for land and environment ministers in Africa in November 2008.
