Post Conflict Environmental Assessment in Albania and Macedonia
During 2000, UNEP continued its investigation (initiated in 1999 in Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia) of the environmental consequences of the Kosovo conflict by making post-conflict environmental assessments in Albania and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. GRID-Arendal supported the activities by producing a total of 30 maps and graphics, which made these new UNEP Balkans reports highly visual and user-friendly. balkans.unep.ch
