Opportunities The severity of challenges brought about by the climate change phenomenon has obscured many of the potential opportunities that exist in Africa. Indeed, the emphasis has been mainly on designing adaptation and implementing mitigation plans, with little attention directed at maximizing such opportunities. These opportunities range from low-carbon technological innovation to shifting mindsets to redefine our relationship with nature.
