A Case for Climate Neutrality

Launched in February 2008 as an initiative of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the Climate Neutral Network (CN Net) is at the forefront of the movement towards a global transition to low carbon economies and societies. CN Net is a high profile platform for innovative and forward thinking pioneers to present to the world their strategies for reducing their climate impact. CN Net participants include countries, cities, regions, UN agencies, NGOs, universities, and global and local companies, representing sectors as diverse as construction, tourism, transport, media, agrifood, and information and communication technologies. CN Net participants have some of the most innovative climate neutral strategies in the world. Through an interactive website, and presence at international climate events, CN Net is a dynamic forum for exchanging knowledge and sharing practical experience.
